18 year old guy dating a 26 year old
He used to work where I worked and that's how we met.
We kept in touch, mostly because he seemed like a really nice guy.
We dated for 2 years and have now been married for 2 years. Please tell an adult as well, to help protect yourself and others. I'm 42 and dating someone who is 35 or 49 is no big deal.
This still happens and I'm an adult, it's better to have someone who knows to give you support and help protect you from them. The difference is that people undergo huge personality changes up to around 25. You finally turn into an adult and it's pretty well cemented by 30. At 15, you shouldn't get into a relationship with someone much older. They look for women who are younger so they can have what they want.
The laws regarding "age of consent" where they live would determine the legality of it. anyways, if you guys get along great, i don't see a problem with it.
It depends on the personalities and maturity of the people involved.
We dated for a while and have been married for 4 years now and have two wonderful kids. I liked this girl, thought she was gorgeous, but I was only 3 years off and I still didn't think it was right for a college guy to be dating a high school junior or sophomore, (can't remember what she was, point is she was too young)You had the maturity that everyone here is talking about.
You were actually interested in making a relationship work and did what you thought was necessary.
He basically wrote a bunch of paragraphs abt how he really liked me, but it made me kind of uncomfortable because of the age difference, I guess.
He knows im 15 and i reminded him of that but he said that "age is just a number".
